In lieu of our usual Readiness Book clubs this fall, our Center, in collaboration with the Center Of Excellence to Prepare Teachers of Children of Poverty, is offering a 3 part book study of Brian Goodwin’s new book The New Classroom Instruction that Works: The Best Research-Based Strategies for Increasing Student Achievement.
Brian Goodwin is the president and CEO of McRel International, a Denver-based nonprofit education research and development organization. Goodwin writes a monthly research column for Education Leadership and presents research findings and insights to audiences across the United States, Canada, the Middle East, and Australia.
Free Participation for approved applicants. Book to be purchased by the participant or a sponsoring organization. Certificates of Participation will be available.
Session 1: October 2, 2023, 4-5pm – Introduction and chapters 1 and 2
